• Gillian Dooley honorary Associate Professor at Flinders University, and author

• Jean Fornasario Emerita Professor of French Studies at the University of Adelaide and author

• John West-Soobey Emeritus Professor of French Studies at the University of Adelaide, and author.

Jean & John's contribution to our understanding of these historical connections between France and Australia has been recognised by the French Government through the awarding of the Palmes Académiques in which they both hold the rank of "officier".

The session will conclude with the AGM for those interested in the affairs of the Encounter Celebration Organisation.
